Mattel has sponsored Barbie’s new campaign to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. You heard that right, Barbie, a toy, will be in Sports Illustrated. So the next time you think there are no new places to market, dig deep, you may find markets in the most unlikely places for your products and services.

3. Debunking a myth surrounding your product or product used in your industry to get camera time for your business. McDonald’s jumped on the chance to “answer a question from a concerned citizen” regarding the ingredients in a Chicken McNugget? The McDonalds rep shows an image of “pink goop” and says, “I’m guessing this is the image you are referring too…” regarding the ingredients in Chicken McNuggets.  Is there any myths surrounding your products? It may be a good way to get the truth out in front of your target market.
