If you are going to accomplish everything you want to accomplish in your life, you have to have 3 things:
- Self-mastery
- People-mastery - The ability to control crowds
- Plan-mastery – the ability to plan your goals and work the plan
You can have all the desire, determination and focus in the world and unless you can control yourself, and others in accordance with your plan, you won’t achieve the kind of success that you want to achieve.
Notice that I didn’t say you won’t be successful. The general population doesn’t have desire, determination and focus, so with these you will be much more successful than the average person. But why stop at having $2 million in the bank when you retire when you could have $200 million?
Seriously! Why not?

Why a lot of money? Because you can help far more people with money than you can without. You can also help yourself. Doesn’t your significant other deserve to live an abundant life full of the finer things? Don’t you deserve to live the life you have always wished for?

Harv Eker has a great quote that I will paraphrase: “People who seek to be comfortable never ever have enough money to be comfortable because they are afraid to go outside of their comfort zone far enough to generate the income needed. The rich, constantly go outside their comfort zone because they know that is how you generate large amounts of money. When you have large amounts of money, life is VERY comfortable!”
