10 Business Apps You Need On The Go


If you are like me, you are always looking for ways to get things done quicker and more efficiently. Having the right apps can be a huge help. I have used many apps, some are good, some are bad and some are exceptional at helping me get my work done faster while on the go.

Here is a list of the 10 business apps I use to help me with my daily tasks while away from the office:

  1. Google Drive: Allows you to store all your files in one place. This allows you to access them from anywhere and share them with anyone.
  2. Square Register: Accepts credit cards using your phone. Process Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express
  3. Google Calendar: Displays your appointments, allows you to add or change appointments, sends reminders and allows you to schedule and add appointments to other users who have authorized you.
  4. UPS Mobile: Let’s you manage and track your packages from your phone.
  5. Hootsuite: A social media management tool. It helps manage multiple social media accounts. You can view and post directly to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+
  6. WordPress: Write, edit, and publish posts and pictures directly to your web site.
  7. OEE – Time Management Tracker: Track meetings, presentations and project time. TMT also provides graphically, the amount of time you spend on different types of tasks
  8. Bump: Simply bump your phone with another phone and your contact information is shared automatically.
  9. QR Code Reader: The fastest and easiest way to scan QR codes.
  10. Consultant Calculator: Calculate customer orders, shipping and handling, sales tax and commission.
